the inverter is specified for 1500W continues.power at the website. The received documentation (photo) specifies 1500W continues and 3000W maximum power output. May be the max power should be specified at the website. The terminals and wiring are not dimensioned for a DC input current of about 125A at 12 VDC (1500W and no losses). Even 50A will be a hard job for wiring and terminals.. I tested the inverter with a resistive load of 750 W with the aligator clamps directly coupled to the accumulator, this results in the alarm sound and an output voltage of 195 true RMS. With 375 Watt load it functions OK. I tried the inverter also with engine/generator running thus with 14 DC; a not loaded flex with rated power of 1200W does not start, the fail LED lights up.
