The price being very low means it cannot be a a real loss buying it. Howether, it works better on some lenses than other. On the kit lens at 55mm focal lenght, it works fine and makes it a 110mm focal plus crop factor, meaning about 165mm focal lenght on a canon APS-C. Anyway, if you actually like lomography yet not the film technology itself, you can transform the canon 55-250 into a 500mm that makes lomography holga lens looking pictures.
