ckovoor Yes, of course that's the whole raison d'etre of this bit: dril, tap and chamfer.

ckovoor As others have pointed out, best used with soft metals, like Aluminium and Brass, and also plastics. I feel it would also work on mild steel say upto 2 mm thick.

ckovoor Instructions for use of this template are included in the manual enclosed with the box joint jig or upgraded miter gauge with brass handle.

Q: will this fit powertec guide rails for makita?

ckovoor Don't understand the powertec part, but they certainly mesh with my Makita track saw rails.
