Good product as far as I have experimented. On a 6S battery they could drag around 20 amps and provide 2-3 kgs of thrust. I have not tested in salt water yet. Quite disapointing though, that it is not possible to choose the propeller direction. The customer service told me that they were sent randomly, but I got three motors with the same direction! Not very convenient for my use...

Q: I purchased and tested two 40A ESC with a 6S 9Ah battery. The motor can drag up to 20A at beginning but then suddenly drops to maximum 8A. I observe this each time on both ESC. Motor cooling and battery capacity is OK. Could it be related to the ESC settings?

Paul159 Maybe,but to me it looks like the ESC is oveheating. It could be reducing the power output to avoid damaging itself.
