pilgrim6588 You would need massive PV array (on the car roof?) as ist consumes 12V*6A=72Watts. Also it won't help you anything if you cannot get rid of the hot air it produces. The unit does the following:it cools a small area (between the small ventilator and the main unit with a very bad efficiency. You would have to place the main part (with the big ventilators) into venting funnel (or OUTSIDE the car).This cannot replace any "real" AC

pilgrim6588 Also please be aware: the ventilator and possible heatsink seems to be insufficient: I have a unit with 2 peltier (and the water chamber in the middle)and two such ventilators with larger heatsinks and it is still not sufficient. I would use this peltiers with a large cpu coolers attached to both sides
