Good servo for the price, I've put this in a refitted Radio Shack RC 4X4 and it has power to spare for steering. The only issue I have is it gets a bit warmer than I expected so I had to make up a heat-sink for it.

The WPL military truck is a decent starter vehicle, with room for upgrades. The chassis is metal, as are the differential housings. Plastic gears are expected at this price level but easy to upgrade. the Battery that comes with it is trash, replace it asap. The plastic body is nice and sturdy and can be painted or modified easily. Motor and drive train are ok for a starter, you can get metal driveshafts and the motor is a standard size so can be replaced.

This is a nice starter for someone looking to get into the hobby, it has proportional steering and throttle although the throttle is a bit tricky with the controller they give you. The battery is frankly garbage but that is to be expected with vehicles in this price range and getting a decent one is simple. The nice thing about this one is the possibilities for upgrading. It has a metal frame and there is tons of room for upgraded parts and electronics.

The HG P407 is a great "next step" for newer Hobbyists looking to move up from a basic RC crawler. The mechanicals are top notch while the electronics , while adequate and functional, can be upgraded to make this very good truck even better. There is a good supply of aftermarket parts and with some modifications you can even upgrade the wheels and make this wanabe monster truck into a true scaler. Pros: The body and running gear is outstanding, with the possible exception of the steering system which has a little slop in it but there are many steering upgrades out there that fix this issue easily. The detail on the body is out of this world, I have a friend who owns the full sized version and it compares beautifully. The price cannot be beat, period. Cons: The electronics are only ok, the controller is kind of clunky to use and the response time on the controls themselves is slow. Be sure to oil up the front & rear ends and the transmission as there is minimal lubrication in there and running it out of the box could potentially cause damage. The axels are unlocked and to lock them you have to insert pins ( which are included) in each axel which are impossible to get to without pulling the suspension off the truck. I highly recommend this truck to anyone, hardcore RC enthusiast or weekend RC players alike will have fun with this one!

I Just received my cover and wow am I impressed, This is a LOT better than I expected, it fits perfectly and makes what is basically a toy RC car look 1000% better! The material is nice and strong and looks to be fairly in scale and it fits on the vehicle easily. I would highly recommend this for anyone who got the Q65 without the cover. Better yet, get the one that already includes it!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this controller, it's well worth the price and matches my application perfectly, and I plan on buying a 2nd one for another upcoming project I have.

looks to be ok, have not installed it yet so I cannot comment on operational abilities yet. Typical WPL controller with steering trim.

got this for my son, he loves it, . The battery is cheap but the rest is decent quality and runs well out of the box. It is a very good replica of a GAZ 66.
