RCcraze Id really appreciate more input regarding quality differences between Arrma and the ZD. They look identical. Is it the plastic material, specifically? I like Arrma products.

It’s sooooo nice. it’s smooth. fast and drifty on punches. I did have a problem with my front drive shaft slipping off. Had to modify it to work. Its a beast now. I do love it and don’t regret it. = )

RCcraze Voltage of a lithium depends on your ESC. I would reccomend a lithium battery. Than a brushed hobby wing crawler motor, receiver and steering servaoBattery is the last thing you would buy.

Q: I've read elsewhere that hobbyist give this kit very high Mark's but that his will not drive the car. It only has motor to spin the AC and faux Alternator. I dont think any transmission would even hook up to this. It's like a small stand model that spins. Question: Am I correct that this is only for rc's that have drive motor elsewhere?

RCcraze No bec, not for 5th scale cars. There are car ESCs by the same manufacturer, up to 16s. Ive bought and used them. Different sales sites. Email me and I let u know where i got them. Couple hundred cost. Your motor should be a 56XX and have a kv below

Body is beautiful, the hardware isnt bad either. Springs are a little bouncy but shocks are aluminum, frame is c channel aluminum and upgradable.

The transmitter plastics feel and look cheap. Its designed for a rock crawler. The receiver synced. I then hooked up all 6 channels with one going to a full sized servo, 2 to mini servos, and four for lights and sound. I used a tested 5.9 volts that came from a step down transformer. The receiver promptly went dead. I did receive the unit about a week after ordering it but that was about two weeks ago. I ordered two more receivers. I havent tried contacting the seller due to my being so busy that i couldnt hook up the unit till now. The directions are readable but they dont get into much detail about each channel. Some are switched, some are gradient, etc. The diode on the top if the Tx at first wouldnt light w power on. It later came on after turning the unit on and off. With the rx blowing out as soon as its used, the cheap over all feel of the tx, and the incomplete instructions... three stars is being generous. Ill definitely update when I receive the new rx. That is if bangood allows me to update.

As i know acrylic means PMMA also known as plexyglass. This sheets are not plexy. therefore the price seems to high. The protective sheet did not realy stick and it peeled of on some 30 % of the sheet.
