ANDREW I built two 25amp continuous at 13.8volt Regulated pwr supplies. Used very heavy 1080m transformers. they cost NZ$300.00 each to build. Total over kill. Yet they worked very well. Now with these Switch Mode Power Supplies. This is a no brainer. Buy a power supply 30% greater than the Fuse Rating to the Car Radio. If you are running Amps like I were. add those fuse ratings also. .
