Kidult No not at all. This old style plug is designed to carry a different video signal than the one coming out from a smart phone or a tablet. You would need a digital to analog inverter to use that. Digital video signal comes out of your phone, goes into signal converter, comes out the the plug in the picture into analog, and then goes to your monitor Don’t use that in 2021 to get video signal from phone or tablet to watch on TV.
