I have three C8's now. This one looked interesting. different, as far as you can different in same length dia and head size. They a neat torch. very useful and nice, clean looking. BUT. NOT the colour advertised "Sand". It's more a very dark Khaki Brown. A lot darker. and browner than all photo's shown. Not happy Jan.

Good well built Strong. Heavy. NICE beam in both distance and spread for me. Is there only the one 5 step cycle in driver. or is it variable.IE selective?. On/OFF or similar.

Very nice BASIC Torch. If it waterproof. Another 1\2 a point. Reason not 5. Beam is only a little more than my Xanes 350. Probably , maybe. 500lum. NEVER 1600 lum. Nice though. good centre with lots of spill. Neat little solid. go out in the rain, walkabout torch.

Macka17 IHave 4 or 5. I Use Li-PO4 cells now. 3.2v over 3.5v. Less chance of burning out the led. and give away to kids with AAA cells in there. My very first one burned out beam levels after several yrs on 10440 Li-Ion usage. Still has full cycle but Medium beam only. I have over a dozen AAA torches. These and my Olight i3T copper Are my favourites.

It is my 5th Astrolux A01. I like the quality. I dont use the aaa.batteries but 10440 3.6V batteries. The flashlight in macimal moment can have even 60°C. But then there is end of energy in 10440 battety. But for 15 minutes I have about 500 lumens flashlight which is the size of finger. Really, don't fear to try 10440 - you will be shocked!

Ideal unit. Clean threads. Heated internally to taper colour from head to tail. Made a very nice 18650 tube for my Stainless S41.

Again. Decently made case for my small LED torch. Not really much more you can say. It's well made. fits. protects torch in pack. Ideal and cheap

The S41 body tube fine. I have 2 of them. Fit well. Plus they have a nice range of colours when you move a flame source up the INTERNAL length of them. Blended into my Stainless one real nice. as did the original Red one into the Black S41 Just be careful if there's an overlap on coatings of the anodising. It gives a nasty DARK shade where that is. I had to throw prev one away.

Great torch as long as you "use" in on around level 4 or 5.. 6 and 7 get rather hot in a short space of time. With the std body and battery to suit. A little down on output. BUT. With the 18650 extension tube. MAGIC. VERY good spreader with decent throw

Really cleans up the beam. Smooths it out and gives more clean throw. a REAL worthy upgrade to light and it's output.
