Q: I have blown the fuse for the A/mA ranges. The back has no screws for access to the fuses. The case seems to click together, and cannot be opened. How do I open the back?

Q: How many gallons per minute can this heat?

rlincolne@gmail.com You will only get 2.1 liters per minute if the output water is 20 degrees Celsius about the input. Say 17C to 37C. In USA jargon, that is about 0.5 gallons per minute if the temperature is from 60F to 96F. Colder input water means less flow.

This appliance works well. We have used it for cheese-making around 40 degree, and for steaks around 60 degrees. There is a got-ya: It recently appeared to not work and I suspected a fault, but it was because of low water level - it was just below the MIN mark. The Instructions and the Trouble-shooting sections didn't mention the low water level sensor. Near the end of the manual it gets a mention, but not the two earlier sections where it is needed. All's well that end well! \ Definitely a good appliance at a good price.

rlincolne@gmail.com The thread is 1/4 inch imperial in stainless steel - thermocouple supplied is only rated for 300 degrees C.
