This is a quality toolpost and one I am very please with so far. The tools are of a quality construction and the post holds things rock-steady. It does not fit the Myford ML10's stud by default as this is slightly larger than the M10 but a new stud can be purchased from a UK store online, but the base needs to ne turned down in depth by about 1.4mm as it's designed for the ML7. The holders are great quality and while I felt the adjustment screw was fiddly it does the job. my only regret now is not buying more holders 😂 Top job Machifit and I hope you produce a sine bar now, maybe a more extensive range of gauge blocks too!

Oliver King@BG143653418 Iam using a mix but I can fit a 10mm insert tooling there just about. You could always grind some of the compound slide away as there is plenty of meat on it to increase capacity. The only caveat is the parting blade cannot be used due to the built in rake angle.

nice little item, but bear in mind the update speed is about a second so it probably won't pick up instantaneous fluctuations. still, good enough for my lathe!

Q: What diameter is the larger bolt through the center? My bolt is fixed so I need to know thanks.

jannek Without going out to check in my workshop (my legs aren't working today), the bolt is a direct replacement for the one on my Chinese 7" X 14" mini lathe. It's the same one that can be bought form a variety of sources in many countries, but rebadged.
