It works right out of the box. It is perfect for video conferencing or Zoom meeting. No complaint whatsoever. The include tripod can come in handy when mounting on top of a thick monitor is not sturdy.

These are fairly low brightness LEDs. The power input to 120 LEDs is a mere 5W. It can provide some ambient light, but not bright enough for desktop.
