You'll want to do some work on the balance of the crankshaft and flywheels. I wish the manufacturer had thought to do that. BTW, it's a "Flame licker" or "Vacuum Engine", not a "Stirling" Comes with spare valves and wick. Blow out the flame before the tank runs dry of 99% isopropyl, and you should never need the spare wick.

RonBeck62 I haven't bought one, because I don't like the specifications. The count rate is very low, and the J305 tube pictured is a cheap one that only detects Gamma and HARD (high energy) beta. That's useful if you want to see how many days you have left after a nuclear war. If you want to check for Radon (alpha and some soft beta) or go prospecting for Uranium, then you will need a different tube.

The main problem is that I'm not sure that it work perfectly. Yes I can hear several "tic tic" when cosmic particules hit the geiger tube but I don't have radioactive source to test it. It' not easy to provide and it's very dangerous to handle. Notice : I've changed the columms because the 4 provided with are too short. I replaced with 4 columms avalaible in item Bangood SKU 1014036.
