Q: What is max curent for these esc? Will it handle 40A peak?

Robert Schmidt Theyare rated for 35A continuous current. I wouldn't force 40A through them for more than 10s. Unfortunately there are no datasheets available on the internet, but a Burst Current of 40A for 10s is pretty common for a 35A ESC.
