ppetermann you should be fine using rechargeables. 1.5V batteries discharge from 1.5V to 1.0V which is usually when they are considered depleted, most of the time they average at 1.2Vs 1.2V rechargeable batter... you should be fine using rechargeables. 1.5V batteries discharge from 1.5V to 1.0V which is usually when they are considered depleted, most of the time they average at 1.2Vs 1.2V rechargeable batteries discharge from 1.2V to 1.0 V, in a different curve where they stay longer close to the 1.2V and then drop of below 1.0 quite quickly so, in general, you should be fine using 1.2V rechargeables where you use 1.5V regular ones. Now there is a catch (theorizing here): the wowstick probably has most of its power when on a fully charged 1.5V, when using a 1.2V rechargeable it should work, but probably doesn't have the same power as it would have with a fresh 1.5V - however for those things that you usually use the wowstick that should be fine.
