FPVoutlaw you can use any battery connector you want as long as its rated for a 1s battery. you're not restricted to the connector on the unit

FPVoutlaw probably due to the polarity reversed. a mess up in production. it is common. and yet people get upset and don't think. I'd desolder the wires after visually inspecting the flight controller to see if the wires are soldered to the correct pads. it should be blatantly obvious due to the pads being labelled +/- if reversed, just switch them. if you care to switch to a more common connection I would. switch to whatever batteries you use mostly.
