Q: 100W?!? What is wrong with you?

Preguntado por Janaehklar sobre 2020-08-24 09:17:52

VE1BLL @tol... "Read the specs"? Hey, do the math. It's less than 15w. The utterly false "100W" claim is prominent in the description. And FYI, "12:12 PM" (highest Sun elevation) would be for one particular relative longitude, the EoT for that time of year, and disregarding DST (where applicable). Cheers. :-)

Q: 12v x 1.2A = 14.4W and 5v x 2.4A = 12W . But 100W in the title... please rectify!

Q: Does it need an external air Compressor

Preguntado por Karel sobre 2020-03-25 19:06:03

VE1BLL Well, I see an inlet fitting where compressed air would be supplied. And the electrical gadget is merely a solenoid. So YES an external source of compressed air is required.

VE1BLL A starting point... Search with obvious search terms plus cooking-hacks.

Q: what is the output?do we need to add lcd screen to display it?

Preguntado por vandana sobre 2017-12-15 20:52:49

VE1BLL As sold, it ticks randomly about 25 times per minute due to natural background radiation, YMMV. There are many Arduino projects described on-line to interface LCD screens and display in microsieverts.

VE1BLL With an easy Arduino project, yes. Many examples on-line.

VE1BLL Jumper J4 TEST apparently doesn't matter. Removing it would disconnect a series of 10M resistors leading to a test point J2 that is open circuit anyway. Mine is in place and works fine. See the schematic, linked in Description.
