Nice kit for a price. Assembly looks very good. The only problem is I can´t find any datasheet for TM1638 chip.

zathras The SPD and SPD\ are the suspend outputs and are active when the USB connection is suspended.

The chip on this device is a Silicon Labs CP2102, not the FT232 in the title. You can see the board says "CP2102 Breakout" in the picture. The board has 1 LED, for power. There are 8 pads on the edges of the board, labelled RST, DSR, RTS, 3v3, SPD, SPD\, RI, DCD. There are pads where the voltage is connected to 5 volts. This could be cut and connected to 3.3 volts with a soldering iron. I connected

This module works similarly to the Adafruit Ultimate GPS module. I have two original model B Raspberry Pis. I have this on one and Adafruit on the other. The Ada cost twice as much as the Ublox. Remember when wiring that TX on the module goes to RX on the Raspberry and RX on the module goes to TX on the Raspberry.
